Top 10 Best Games for the Nintendo Switch as of 2021

The Nintendo Switch has hundreds of awesome games but here are my favorite games.

1. Super Mario Odyssey

Super Mario Odyssey is an AMAZING sandbox 3D Mario game. This was the first really good 3D Super Mario game since the Super Mario Galaxy pair on the Wii.

2. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

One of the most classic Nintendo Switch games had to make this top 10 list or else I would be stuck in Bowsers dungeon and Mario would not save me. Is it just me or when I think of the Nintendo Switch I think of this classic.

3. Animal Crossing: New Horizons

You signed up for a relaxing island get away package from Nook Inc. and start off being greeted at the airport by the adorable Timmy and Tommy. Once you create your identity you fly to a relaxing deserted island that you now call your home. Also, paradise planning is amazing and you need to buy the DLC for it.

4. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

I personally have to admit, I don't find this game as fun as some of the other games on the Nintendo Switch but a lot of people enjoy it. This is about Link waking up after 100 years and forgetting who he is. This game isn't for everyone but if you enjoy fighting monsters with AMAZING graphics check this one out.

5. Splatoon 2

I have a very devastating story about this one. I was saving up for the DLC and my sister asked to play it. I said sure. When she was done playing it she lost the game card, but we found it 2 days later IN MY DOGS MOUTH!!! I loved this game and this is a perfect game to play if you like laser tag and graffiti. It is like a genius combination between laser tag and paintball. Great for family game nights too.

6. Mario Party Superstars

Do You remember the amazing original Mario Party games while Mario Party was made by Nintendo and Hudson Soft. I unfortunately only was able to play the 5th game in the series made for the Nintendo GameCube, though I own a Nintendo 64 and Wii I don't own any Mario Party games for those software's. If you loved the original Mario Party boards from the Nintendo 64 era and the minigames from ALL MARIO PARTY GAMES but wished they had advanced graphics, BUY THIS GAME!!!

7. WarioWare: Get It Together

Do you love the minigames and the co-op from Mario Party? Do you also love Mario's evil rival? Do you also love Nintendo easter eggs? Imagine all of those things smushed together in one game. Yep, that's WarioWare: Get It Together. Its also the first game in the WarioWare series that includes multiplayer tough its only 2 players its better than 1.

8. Pokémon: Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl

Do you remember one of the first Pokémon regions the Sinnoh region? Do the Pokémon Piplup, Turtwig, or Chimchar hold a special place in your heart? Then these are amazing games for you! Remember that these are two separate games so they have different Pokémon to catch so choose carefully.

9. Pokémon Sword and Shield

Here is another flawless Pokémon game. It follows your journey in the Galar region. Your goal is to defeat Leon your rivals brother and to become the champion of the Galar region. You will face many obstacles along the way to....

10. Super Mario Maker 2

Last but not least, Super Mario Maker 2. This is an pretty fun game, but I left it last because you need a Nintendo Online Membership to access most of the content that most gamers find most fun, playing other peoples levels. The story mode is really fun but if you are lazy, die 5 times and Luigi will beat the level for you. I think that the original had better features but this is still an amazing game.
